Welcome to the website for Cold Ash Parish’s Neighbourhood Development Plan. Through this site we aim to keep you in touch with the NDP as it develops over the next eighteen months or so. We have designed the site to provide a resource for you, our parishioners, to understand what an NDP is, how and when we will be developing our local NDP, and how you can get involved if you wish.
The site will also contain news and status updates over time, so click on the appropriate menu to keep up to date. We also welcome your feedback, so let us know what you think via the Facebook and Twitter feeds. Please also bear with us as the site is a work in progress, reliant on volunteers, and might not always be as slick as we would like!
Our NDP is a real opportunity for all of us to influence housing development and “Protect and Enhance” our Parish [over the next 16 years]. With your support, the NDP will help Cold Ash parish continue to be such a special place to live.

This is a real opportunity for us to add to the planning policies that must be taken into account when considering development applications for approval.
West Berkshire Council will soon be allocating the number of new houses required in Cold Ash Parish.
